Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is an actor, comedian, and is known for exuding her humor in a deadpan style. She plays April Ludgate, a character on the television show Parks and Recreation. The show's debut was The Jeannie Tate Show, a web series after performing sketch comedy and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Her next appearance was on Judd Apatow's Funny People and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World at the end of her career. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza born Wilmington Delaware, the daughter of lawyer Bernadette Plazaand the financial expert David Plaza. Her mother is Irish and English and her father is from Puerto Rico. Plaza graduated from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts as well as a Catholic all-girls secondary school, in the year 2006, after having graduated in 2002. In high school she was President of the Wilmington Drama League and her school's Student Government. Plaza suffered a stroke in 2004 while enrolled at the college. The stroke caused her to develop expressive aphasia. She also experienced an ephemeral period of paralysis. Today, she's completely recovered. Plaza is a regular performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, New York City since 2004. In New York, Plaza has done stand-up comedy at The Improv as well as the Laugh Factory. Plaza starred as Robin Gibney on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street. Also, she played Robin Gibney on The Jeannie Tate Show. Troopers on CollegeHumor, Plaza played the role of Princess, a satirical Sci-Fi persona. Plaza's saxophone debut was in the movie Cassorla Bona Fide, 2014. She first came to prominence in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings from 2012. Then on HarmonQuest in 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee, a gnome. The same year she portrayed Aaron Burr In Drunk History as well as Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds. Her triumphant return to the role she played in Season 12 After announcing her appearance, Plaza appeared in An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
