Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role was that of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked by the theater in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her luck in TV and film roles. Anna had her first big role as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. She also guest-starred on the show. appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In fact, it wasn't until the late 1990s that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was also one of her characters. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn participated in an audio-play podcast named "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal story and the strain on the marriage he shares with Skyler are mirrored in the show.
